Founded by Guy Weiss, Jonatan Bien and Noam Neumann, Zenzap is backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners to bring multiplayer AI to businesses worldwide.
Zenzap today launched collaborative AI agents that work alongside teams and automate workflows across business tools, backed by $44 million in total funding. The launch marks a shift from individual AI use to collaboration between people and AI agents across the organization, opening the door to businesses that have yet to benefit from AI.
The first wave of AI changed how individuals work. Most of today’s AI remains single-player: one person, one AI, one private conversation.
Businesses work differently. Decisions involve several people, information sits across tools, and work moves between teams. When AI stays in private conversations, people still manually transfer information between tools and coordinate next steps with colleagues.
Zenzap brings multiplayer AI into the same chats where teams communicate and get work done. Employees work with shared AI agents that use the context of those conversations to coordinate tasks, involve the right colleagues and take action across connected tools. AI agents collaborate with people and each other to carry workflows forward, reducing manual handovers and follow-ups.
“Zenzap was designed and built from the ground up as a secure platform so that agents and humans can work together, share the same context, and enable AI to become a force multiplier for employees and the business as a whole,” said Guy Weiss, Co-Founder and CEO of Zenzap.
Zenzap was founded in 2022 by CEO Guy Weiss, CTO Jonatan Bien and COO Noam Neumann. Weiss previously founded Stucco Media and led it through its acquisition. Bien held senior technology positions at Voca.ai and Viz.ai, while Neumann held senior roles at Mobox and Matomy.
The funding was jointly led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from The Garage, supporting Zenzap’s next stage of product development and international growth.
Zenzap is built around how teams actually work, with over 10,000 teams relying on it daily. That adoption, combined with a familiar interface and shared team context, positions Zenzap to lead the move to multiplayer AI.
AI agents become part of the team chats where work happens, making it easy for employees to bring colleagues into the same conversation and work with shared agents across the organization.
“Personal AI assistants have entered our private lives. Zenzap brings that same opportunity to companies and teams of every size and industry,” said Tal Morgenstern, Partner at Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Zenzap’s AI agents can be built in one click and customized without technical knowledge. Employees interact with them through text or voice messages on mobile and desktop, making them accessible both at a desk and on the go.
Connected to business tools, AI agents can find information, analyze data, update records and automate workflows, drawing on preferences and decisions shared in team conversations.
Teams can customize workflows around their own processes and tools, from qualifying leads and updating CRM records to coordinating shifts, reconciling payments and tracking down missing invoices. Customers have already created thousands of automated workflows.
Organizations control who can use each AI agent, what it can access and which actions require approval. These controls and enterprise-grade security allow teams to work with shared AI agents while maintaining oversight of company information and the actions AI agents take.
The investment will enable Zenzap to expand its development and sales teams and bring collaborative AI agents to more businesses worldwide.
